Senior Project Officer, Suffolk and Norfolk 
Salary:  £24,256 - £25,983 plus attractive benefits
Based at Ipswich, Suffolk
Full time (37 hours)

Groundwork East has over 30 years of experience in delivering bespoke projects that use the environment as a catalyst for building a more sustainable future.  As our activities develop and our area of activity expands we are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and creative person to assist the Operations Manager with a programme of sustainable projects and initiatives across Suffolk and Norfolk. The post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

As Senior Project Officer you will initiate, develop, manage and deliver environmental projects, including larger programmes throughout Suffolk and Norfolk alongside identified partner organisations and local groups. You will work across all Trust teams including employment programmes, environmental education initiatives, awareness-raising activities both within and outside of educational settings, and with the landscape design team to develop project designs and youth projects/activities. You will have extensive experience of project management, budgets and finance and at least 3 years experience delivering community/environmental projects (including practical work). You will be able to develop effective partnerships with stakeholders and have experience of community consultation and engagement. Well make sure youre given all the support and guidance you need and you will have the opportunity to become part of a highly successful organisation making a real and positive difference to your local area.

The position is full time. The position will also include some evening and weekend working as required (with time off in lieu) and a full driving licence and access to a car is necessary. Please note: previous applicants interviewed need not apply.
