Senior Office Administrator
Ipswich
Salary:  up to £28,000 depending on experience

Senior Office Administrator- The DPO Centre Ltd is the UKs data protection officer resource centre.  We provide fractional (so less than part time) outsourced Data Protection Officer resources to over 250 organisations across the UK, ranging from 1 to 8 days per month.  We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Office Administrator to join our team and offering a salary of up to £28,000 depending on experience.

As the Senior Office Administrator you will support our continued growth by assisting with our various back-office functions, including implementation of and running of administrative systems and processes. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player who is well presented, articulate and has excellent written and non-verbal communication skills. 

The Senior Officer Administrator key duties will include:

  • Working as an integral member of our team to help implement and run our administrative systems and processes.
  • Providing administrative support to the Marketing team, Head of Client Services, Head of DPO Services as well as the sales and business development
  • Taking ownership of the organisation behind exhibitions, seminars and presentations as well as managing marketing literature and promotional items
  • Contributing to the research and organisation of new marketing opportunities
  • Diary planning and scheduling of meetings and visits
  • Co-ordinating travel arrangements including trains, flights and accommodation
  • Support with managing our on and offline marketing activities and budget
  • Reviewing and managing data within our project and time management system
  • Administrating, reporting and actioning outcomes from our client satisfaction surveys
  • Assisting with version control within our document management system
  • Maintaining and updating client records including sending and monitoring of periodic client questionnaires

Skills and Attributes:

  • Have a strong and solid experience in a similar senior administrative role.
  • Academic qualifications are of interest, however experience, especially with on and offline marketing will be considered of greater significance.
  • An outstanding organiser and have the capacity to manage own workloads, prioritise tasks across our business functions from multiple sources to meet expectations and deadlines.
  • Highly organised, structure and disciplined and able to work under pressure.
  • The successful candidate will need to be highly computer literate

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company and we are offering a salary of up to £28,000 (depending on experience).  The post is office based in Ipswich, with occasional travel to assist with events and exhibitions etc.
