Senior Engineer - Systems (Integration Requirements)

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Engineer - Systems (Integration Requirements) at our site in Barrow.

As a Senior Engineer - Systems (Integration Requirements), you will be working with the integration engineers, taking outputs and turning them into requirements for mission critical software based systems.

This role will provide you with a wide and varied workload and the chance to work with a wide stakeholder base. You will be stepping into a new team and working within the biggest defence project in the country, giving you an opportunity to showcase your talents and progress your career.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Engineer - Systems (Integration Requirements) will involve:

Looking at systems engineering across a number of complex software based systems.

Considering how each system interacts with others and ensuring they satisfy the customer requirements.

Derivation and agreement with stakeholders of associated Integrated Systems requirements.

Supporting the low-level functional analysis for "at risk" Integrated Systems functions.

Developing the Integrated Systems "Integration requirements", and their subsequent management within the programme.

Your skills and qualifications as a Senior Engineer - Systems (Integration Requirements):

Essential:

Degree qualification (or equivalent) in relevant STEM subject such as Systems Engineering or any relevant experience gained on a large military project

Knowledge of, and experience with a Systems Engineering approach

Experience of generating and managing requirements of complex systems or products

Desirable:

Experience of systems engineering within Air Sector

Experience of using DOORS toolset

Experience of taking integration of other systems into consideration when undertaking design activities

Professional membership such as INCOSE or chartered status (CEng)

You will be highly analytical and able to break down complex problems into manageable elements.
