Sales Manager (IT & Telecoms)- Comms Unite Ltd are seeking an experienced and proven Sales Manager with demonstrable expertise within the IT & Telecoms industry to join their expanding team at their office base at BT Adastral Park, Martelsham, Ipswich the home of Innovation, on a full-time permanent basis.

The role of Sales Manager (IT & Telecoms) will be to develop business and account manage clients with software and licensing sales to local, national and international companies. Our aim is to help businesses grow and improve performance through the powerful provision of bespoke technology and communication solutions. 

This is a business critical role and as Sales Manager (IT & Telecoms), your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing high value long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Developing new business by combining sales skills with technical knowledge
  • Prepare quotations for customers
  • Maintaining CRM with company details, contact information, prospects as well as outcomes of calls and visits
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects
  • Provide technical advice and present solutions on hosted telecoms and IT solutions to non-technical audience
  • Identify industry openings, and be an expert negotiator with the proven ability to close business and expand upon an existing client base.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Target driven sales professional with a proven track record within technical account management and business development
  • Previous experience in the software and licensing sales would be highly advantageous
  • Have the technical knowledge and communication skills required to explain and present hosted telecom and IT solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • Self-motivated professional with an appetite to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Possess a positive outlook and will have a clear focus on the delivery of high quality customer care.
  • Be a consummate networker and have exceptional presentation skills too
  • Full driving licence is required

This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.  We are offering a competitive salary up to £20,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience), plus a car allowance and uncapped commission plus an extensive range of attractive benefits.
