Sales Executive Administrator £25,000 depending on experience

The Job - IT and Construction Market Sector Location Hitchin, Hertfordshire

Full time, Part time, Job Share or Sub Contract options are available. Home working in a virtual office environment is a key aspect of our work environment.
You will collaborate with Marketing and Sales Account Managers to build a pipeline of prospective leads in the UK and Ireland. The role will require you to balance a range of responsibilities including researching sources for new leads and prospective customers, lead qualification and to assist Sales Account Managers to develop new accounts. Additional responsibilities include sales administration, set up and closedown of customer contracts, and service call logging from customers.

This may be an entry level sales role or a role for experienced sales executives. If successful, you will join a close-knit team of sales, marketing and technical specialists that will drive the expansion of a market leading company in construction cloud and management consultancy services.  

Primary Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and proactively to all sales leads and to qualify them thoroughly
  • Work directly with Sales Account Managers to build sales pipeline
  • Research new sources of sales prospects and to assist Sales Account Managers to maintain regular contact with existing customers through phone calls, onsite and web presentations
  • Promote Construction Contact Change and Risk Management (CCM) solutions to customers
  • Assist the sales team to identify and develop sales opportunities
  • Develop business relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Update and maintain the company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to assist the marketing and sales team to promote CCM
  • To document all account activities in CRM system and Content Management system
  • Work closely with the company technical team at both pre and post sales stages to enable technical sales support to customers
  • To assist Sales Account Managers to organise and facilitate: web and onsite meetings, workshops as required 
  • Service call logging and response from customers

Person Specification

  • Graduate ideally but not essential
  • Sales and Administration experience but willing to consider entrants
  • Positive, professional and confident communicator both in-person and on the phone, with concise writing skills
  • Strong time-management skills, with the ability to balance multiple demands from a high volume of prospects as well as team members
  • An understanding of the business challenges and technical issues clients face in the management of commercial construction contracts
  • Determination and a consultative approach to assisting the progression and closure of sales in a competitive sales environment
  • Some experience with Office365, Cloud Services, CRM would be advantageous
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Driving licence essential
