They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Care Home Manager at their Residential Home in Scole, Diss (Suffolk). The Residential Home is registered as a 51-bedded home specialising in general, dementia and respite care for the elderly. The home is currently rated as a 'GOOD' by CQC.

In order to be considered for this exciting role as Home Manager you will have a proven record in commercial business aspect and home management. You will hold a Registered Managers Award or be willing to work towards it, along with a passion for achieving consistent high levels of care. You will manage and be responsible for all aspects of the service and CQC, ensuring all service users receive the highest standard of care.

You will be fully supported in your role by a Senior Business Manager and Service Quality Manager, as well as a full head office team.

The ideal candidate for this position must have:

  • The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide an excellent service of person centered care.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing/ agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home.
  • Confidence to communicate and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of colleagues/ internal as well as external professionals/ families and visitors.
  • Create strong links with the local community.
  • A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector/ running a commercially successful/ good or outstanding rated care home.
  • Eligibility to work within the U.K.

Our client offers a superb induction program and you will receive continuous support from divisional and central teams in operations, service quality and marketing.

Our client offers an excellent remuneration package including a salary up to £47,500 (subject to experience)

25 days holiday (plus public holidays)
