Community nurses are the important link between hospital and home. The Royal Devon and Exeter is proud of its community workforce and the work they do in keeping people well and out of hospital, and we would like you to join us. Community nurses work autonomously to deliver high quality care to people in their own homes yet are part of the Health and Social care Team that includes support workers and therapists who all work together to provide seamless care.

Band 5 Community Hospital Nurse(Sidmouth recruitment event 22nd January 5pm 8pm)

 

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust provides care to people in three Community hospitals. Working in one of our hospitals enables you to use your clinical skills and knowledge alongside our GPs and therapy staff to ensure patients receive individualised programmes of rehabilitation that is suitable for them. The community hospital nurse needs to have the ability to problem solve and work autonomously whilst being part of a supportive community team.

The Band 2 Health Care support worker plays an important role in helping provide excellent care and support to patients in a community hospital. All three Community hospitals focus on providing rehabilitation for patients , so you will be working closely with registered nurses, and therapists to provide the right care for the patient.
