Scale C point 10 13 (£16,863 - £17,391 per annum) pro rata

The Trustees of the Rightforsuccess Trust are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to start as soon as possible. 

This Academy opened in September 2018 and is situated on the edge of Norwichs northern ring road, the Academy will sit at the heart of a growing community. Initially opening with two forms of Reception Classes, the Academy will reach capacity in 2024.

Personal qualities are also of paramount importance and the person appointed will be expected to display enthusiasm, energy, good humour, flexibility and reliability. They must also have the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.

Applicants should have very good inter-personal skills; good general knowledge of ICT and data based applications, word processing and general office skills. These are essential to enable the post holder to maintain the day to day administrative processes for the Academy and for the Rightforsuccess Trust when required.

Your duties will include:

  • Ensuring visitors and callers to the Academy are courteously and correctly received
  • Dealing with daily registers
  • Ordering lunches
  • Collecting and checking monies coming into the office
  • Taking and passing on messages, responding to enquiries
  • Updating pupil files, newsletter, photocopying, filing etc.

The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 3.30 pm, term time plus one week.

Previous experience of working in a school environment is preferable but not essential.
