Project Stakeholder and Engagement Manager 43919 CELE
County Hall, Norwich
£35,697 - £39,780 per annum
37 Hours per week
Permanent contract
As part of the delivery and governance of major highway projects for the County Council, an additional role within the Infrastructure Delivery Team (part of the Highways service) is required.  The role must provide sufficient skills and expertise in managing engagement and communication with stakeholders to ensure project delivery is well planned and executed.
This is a challenging role within the team.  The successful candidate will join the team working on a range of large highway projects, providing direct support to each of the Project Managers and to the team more generally.  This will include developing and delivering stakeholder engagement and communication plans for each allocated project, ensuring alignment with programme deadlines, that key milestones are being achieved and that costs are being tracked and managed within allocated budgets.
The team has a broad range of active projects that are currently being delivered and these include the Great Yarmouth 3rd River Crossing, Norwich Western Link, Long Stratton bypass, as well as a range of projects being delivered as part of the Transport for Norwich programme, and the Transforming Cities projects also linked to this.
Ideally applicants will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of planning and delivering in a key role as stakeholder and wider engagement and communication lead for large highway projects, as well as general experience in dealing with different media organisations, including management of social media platforms.
