Programme Coordinator (0.5fte)

£22,017 to £25,482 per annum, pro rata

 

As part of the School Support Team, you will coordinate activity relating to study programmes in the School of Economics, particularly the Placement and Year Abroad programmes.  This will involve ensuring the provision of excellent customer service to prospective and current students, working to further improve the quality levels across the Placement and Year Abroad programmes, and liaising with external organisations to assist in the development of placement opportunities.

 

The post holder will also ensure excellent communication between the School and Careers Service and the Study Abroad Office.  Some budget management and costing of activities may be required.

 

We are seeking an experienced individual to work with us in this stimulating and diverse role. You must be highly organised, conscientious and able to deal with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

 

You will have a good standard of education with a minimum of five passes at GCSE at Grades A-C (including Mathematics and English) or equivalent qualifications, or equivalent experience in a similar role, ideally in a higher education environment. Good management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines are essential, along with excellent written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills. The ability to deal with sensitive and confidential issues with tact and discretion is also essential. In addition, you will be able to satisfy all essential criteria detailed in the person specification for this post.

 

The post is available from 1 August 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter on a part-time (0.5fte) basis.
