Opportunities Programme Manager (Fixed term)

£42,036 to £48,677 per annum, pro rata

 

With a high profile presence on campus, our Careers Service is highly respected by students, graduates, employers and the academic community. We are looking to recruit a new member of staff to join the Careers Service to develop and manage delivery and development of opportunity programmes including the Gateway to Growth Programme. The post-holder will be responsible for growing the range of opportunities available to UEA students and graduates in conjunction with the Opportunities Co-ordinator and other stakeholders.

 

The Gateway to Growth programme seeks to address skill gaps by ensuring that interventions developed to enhance graduate outcomes respond to and reflect local labour market demands. The programme consists of three interlinked and inter-dependent schemes; SME Recruitment Service, Hub Internship Scheme and Professional Graduate Support.

 

The Opportunities Programme Manager will be instrumental in the development and management delivery of the project. The role involves working in partnership with project partners and other external stakeholders in order to achieve success in collaborations and deliver the programmes strategic goals, targets and outcomes.

 

The successful candidate will have expertise in successful project management and a track- record in successful business relationship development.  Self-motivated and enthusiastic with an eye for detail, you will be able to work independently, to be proactive in your approach to work and to manage multiple deadlines effectively. 

The post is available immediately on a part-time, 3 year fixed term basis.
