Waking Night Specialist Behaviour Support Workers are responsible for the customers emotional and psychological well being, as well as providing support to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs. This will include providing physical, domestic, emotional and social care during night time. You will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living and encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices.
As a Night Support Worker, youll be drawing on your understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced by people with Specialist Behaviour and using this knowledge to provide waking night support at Nimrod House or Stratford Road. These are unique 24-hour services in Newham with specially designed self-contained flats tailored to customers complex needs. They work with families and clinicians as part of the NHS Transforming Care Agenda, which integrates individuals into the community, designs person-centred support, and promotes independence, skills and relationships to produce better quality of life.

In particular, for this role youll need experience in CQC services, with specialised knowledge including Autism, Learning Difficulties, Personality Disorder, Self Harming, Absconding Behaviour, etc.
