The Higher Education Champion is a member of the Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (NEACO) programme as part of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP). You will be managed by the County Co-ordinators for Norfolk. Postholders will work in schools across Norfolk and, although employed by the University of East Anglia, they will be based at a school or college in the areas outlined above.

The Higher Education Champion role focuses on the organisation, administration and delivery of NEACO initiatives. These could range from short taster sessions and lectures to school children and organising mentoring or tutoring sessions through to residential visits, which take place over several days and trips out to HEIs and employers. The wider purpose of the NCOP project is to accelerate progress on widening access for disadvantaged young people into Higher Education (HE).
