Civil Servants in the Ministry of Defence play a vital role in all levels of the National and International intelligence communities. Defence Intelligence (DI) is an essential element of the UKs intelligence ecosystem. One key part, the National Centre for Geospatial Intelligence (NCGI), is based at RAF Wyton in Cambridgeshire, providing specialist and advanced imagery intelligence to the Armed Forces and other intelligence partners.
Within DI and the NCGI, we are seeking entry-level applicants for the following:
Imagery Intelligence Analysts use imagery and other information to produce and share
imagery intelligence (IMINT) to enable understanding of complex problems and help
inform decision makers. We also have Higher Imagery Intelligence Analysts roles for
those with prior imagery analysis qualifi cations and experience.
Geospatial Analysts create image derived 3D scene visualisation products.
Photogrammetry & CAD Modelling Analysts provide quality-assured dimensional
information to analysts and other Government departments using Close-Range
Photogrammetry, 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3D printing.
Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analysts analyse publically available information,
which can contribute to real time understanding and fast decision-making.
