Are you a competent Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Fitter?

Do you want to work Monday to Friday Mornings, Afternoons and Nights rotating shift and earn £38,000 and upwards with overtime readily available?

If so then please read on!

With manufacturing facilities located across the UK, we now require a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Fitter to join the engineering team.

Salary: £36,405 + overtime = £38,000 and upwards

Shift: Mon- Fri (phone number removed)

Overtime Rates: Mon-Sat time and ½ and Sundays Double

Location: Soutwaite

Benefits: Pension up to 7.5% contributed by the employer, 28 days holiday rising to 34 days with service, free onsite parking.

Background required: Previous experience working as a mechanical maintenance engineer/fitter within a manufacturing environment or similar

Skills required:

*Apprentice trained

*A strong background within a mechanical maintenance role within a manufacturing environment

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Fitter:

To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.

Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns

PPM’s

The ideal Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Fitter will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

* Time served apprenticeship

* Strong mechanical background

* Knowledge and understanding of Gear Boxes, Motors, Taper locks, Conveyors

* Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc.

* Any welding or machining experience advantageous
