Job Title:         Maintenance Technician

Salary:             Competitive Salary + Benefits Package

Job Location:  Exeter EFW Facility, Marsh Barton Ind. Est., Exeter, Devon, UK, EX2 8QE

Job Purpose:

Working for Cyclerval UK a subsidiary of Tiru SA Group, a pioneering renewable energy company and global leader in the Energy from Waste Sector, the facility operators are looking to appoint a Mechanical Technician to join the maintenance department of our well-established Energy from Waste facility in Exeter.

 

Candidates applying for this role should be suitably experienced in carrying out Planned and Preventative Maintenance on systems such as Steam Boilers, Turbines, Pumps, Motors, and other generating or similar heavy mechanical plant. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:

 

  • Identifying faults and arranging / carrying out repairs on all Mechanical plant

  • Ensuring the planned maintenance of equipment is carried out in accordance with the maintenance schedule and the specifications of the job

  • Ensuring the completion of all relevant documentation and reports in line with facility systems

  • Supervising 3rd party contractors

  • Ensuring all work is carried with the highest regard for health, safety, environmental & quality compliance

 

Job Competencies:

Cyclerval UK is looking for a mechanical biased engineer, preferably a time served apprentice, with a wide range of experience, skills and knowhow ideally from the Power, Oil & Gas, Marine Engineering or any other heavy industry process type sector.

 

  • Well rounded Mechanical skills with a deep understanding in Mechanical process equipment installation, maintenance & repair

  • Practical skills including fitting, plating, welding & machining

 

The role will require the successful candidate to work as part of a day shift rota.  A flexible working attitude and a strong team working approach are essential.
