If so, becoming a Lifestyle Co-ordinator with us could be perfect for you!

This is a special role that emphasises on ensuring our clients residents and their families are supported and engaged in life within their Residential Home in Campse Ashe, Woodbridge.

This position is offering 30 hours per week (9am-4.30pm with weekend shifts), to be discussed at interview.

The pay rate is up to £8.40 per hour (subject to experience)

Key responsibilities:

-To maintain a stimulating programme of leisure pursuits and social events for both groups of residents and on an individual basis.

-Produce a weekly social events programme and ensure that it is advertised within the home and through external channels (marketing team, social media...).

-To organise social and recreational events within (tea parties, fetes, craft fairs...) and outside the home (music groups, dramatic societies, schools, colleges...).

-To assess on a regular basis the effectiveness of the programme of social events and recreational pursuits.

-Responsible for maintaining the annual activities planner.

-Establish relationships with the local community.

-To attend appropriate training courses and/or programmes to enhance personal and professional knowledge and skills.

The successful candidate for this position will have:

Previous experience of organising activities within a care setting.

Experience of arranging and promoting events

Great communication skills

NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, would be advantageous

Ability to work as part of a team and individually

Understanding of the different types of activities elderly residents will enjoy.

Creative flair with a range of practical skills e.g. arts & crafts etc.

Ability to motivate and engage people with good negotiation skills.

Ability to plan a calendar of activities.

Able to create an environment where residents feel able to participate and contribute ideas.
