Ipswich / Sudbury

Basic Pay £7.90 - £9.60 per hour


Learning Disabilities Support Worker - Do you have Support work experience or have a commitment to a change of career and a passion for supporting people of varying ages and different abilities?  If so we are currently recruiting Support Workers to join our team in Hadleigh, Suffolk.


You will be part of a fantastic independent service provider of unique, flexible and person centred services for children and adults with a range of abilities including learning disabilities, behavioural challenges and other complex needs. We are looking for support workers for both our adult and young peoples services in Hadleigh Suffolk and Ipswich.


Alongside these opportunities Inroads are developing their intermediate care service where you will be facilitating people to return home from care / hospital settings whom may have physical or emotional / mental health needs. This can either be an optional addition to your role or as a sole role with flexible hours.


This is a fantastic opportunity to work and learn alongside some talented individuals. There are also opportunities for free and supported training and personal development, and support to complete some advanced training. Our work is solution focused and incorporates a multi professional approach at its core. We are a 52 week 24 hour service provider. You will also be entitled to paid breaks and night enhancement pay, 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays


Some key responsibilities include:

  • Be a great team member and part of the Inroads family

  • Be aware of and act within Suffolk and Inroads  Safeguarding and Vulnerable Children Adults Policy and Procedure
  • Contribute to the health, safety and security of individuals and their environment
