Job title: Business Administrator- Apprenticeship (Finance)

Location: Moorgate/Liverpool Street, London

Wage: £12,000 per annum

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: Monday-Friday (9am-5pm)

Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course

Course entry requirements: GCSEs at grade C/level 4 or above in English and Maths

About the role:

My client is a Central London based Financial Advisory firm who offer financial planning services to retail clients.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Learning and understanding the various systems used in the business
  • Learning, understanding and implementing our systems and processes consistently for new business and reviews
  • Support the advisers, para-planners and colleagues with administration-based duties
  • Ensuring all client files are maintained accurately and electronically by scanning relevant documentation
  • Liaising with investment providers and gathering information on behalf of advisers
  • Maintaining new business pipeline reports
  • Recording, sending and chasing Letters of Authority
  • Updating the Company's Social Media posts on Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Updating the Company's website with weekly blogs
  • Update Fact find following Adviser meetings
  • Input Attitude To Risk questions and produce risk profile report
  • Gathering data from Product providers and chasing if necessary
  • Adding clients to Intelligent Office and running monthly reports
  • Managing stationery levels and ordering as necessary
  • Preparing Policy Schedules
  • Provide clients with information upon request
  • Answering phone calls and booking appointments
  • Maintaining current knowledge to ensure the business is compliant with regulation
  • Assisting with projects from time-to-time
  • Providing assistance with any task for which the jobholder is qualified by way of knowledge and experience

The successful candidate will have the following

  • I.T. knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, etc

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work under instruction and to deadlines
