£26,715 - £32,817 per annum

 

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for research to work across UEA as part of a larger specialist team to support the delivery of Impact Case Studies for the Research Excellence Framework (REF). The main duties of the postholder will be focused on: supporting the development of impact case studies by working with case leads to advise on, and agree, evidence requirements; research, source, evaluate and curate evidence to support Impact claims in accordance with formal guidance; identify relevant benchmarks and best practice from REF2014; and facilitate the sharing and discussion of best practice for evidencing impact across UEA. The four target areas are: Health and Life Sciences; Policy; Cultural and Heritage; and Intellectual Property and Economic impacts.

 

The successful candidate will be educated to at least degree level, or have the equivalent level of experience. Experience of working within a HE or research role is essential.  Knowledge of REF and research, and evaluation ability of various sources is desirable but not essential. 

 

This post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 31 December 2020.  The post may be offered as a secondment with the permission of the candidates line manager.
