Hotel Receptionist

Ufford Park Woodbridge are a busy, Quality in Tourism accredited Hotel situated just outside the town of Woodbridge. We attract a wide range of customers, each looking for something different from their visit to us and this creates a great and varied working environment. We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic people to join us in our Reception Team.

The qualities:

The ideal candidate will be personable and motivated. You must be able to work as part of a busy team and as an individual, and have high standards of service and cleanliness. Experience is preferred but not essential. This role will require some evening and weekend working. We pride ourselves on our speedy and knowledgeable service, along with the atmosphere created by our team. If you think that you could enjoy being part of this, then please apply.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

As a Receptionist you will ensure that all guests are checked in and out and looked after to the company standard at Reception.

You will ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times to all guests and visitors both at the reception desk and on the phone making customers feel welcome and at home.

Additionally, you will be responsible for completing designated administration tasks during your shift, answering the telephone and dealing with any customer queries. You will also be required to take reservations to a prescribed standard. Cash handling and balancing is also part of the role.

To maintain a high standard of customer service, personal hygiene and presentation at all times, being punctual for scheduled shifts and maintaining a good attendance record.

The position requires shift work to cover 7am until 3pm and 2.30pm until 10.30pm with a mixed shift pattern working 5 days out of 7. You will be expected to have the flexibility to work the required shift pattern including  weekends and Bank Holidays.
