Collaborative Outreach (NEACO)

Salary: £26,052 to £28,453 (per annum, pro rata)

Fixed term to 31 December 2018 in the first instance.

Lowestoft (1 post) & Haverhill & Sudbury (1 post)

We are seeking a further 2 Higher Education Champions (HEC) to help widen access into Higher Education (HE) in Suffolk. The University of Suffolk is recruiting individuals who are passionate about widening participation into HE. You will have the skills and/or experience to make a difference to the lives of young people and play a key role in delivering a variety of inspiring and aspirational projects and activities to a range of young people.

All posts will be hosted by a local school or college and you will work in close partnership with staff and students supporting pupils in Years 9 -13 to progress into and thrive within HE. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new project which offers the opportunity to develop and shape the activities being delivered.

NEACO is a partnership of five universities committed to widening participation and raising aspiration into Higher Education across East Anglia. Partners are Cambridge University (Lead), University of Suffolk, University of East Anglia, Anglia Ruskin University, Norwich University of the Arts.
