Eastern IFCA, the largest of the 10 Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities in England, has a rare and exciting opportunity for a Head of Operations to join its' Executive Team. The role involves leadership of the Marine Science and Marine Protection functions as well as deputising for the CEO across the full spectrum of responsibilities.

HEAD OF OPERATIONS
Hours - Full time 37 hours per week
Salary - scale from £46,051 to £50,842

Based - Kings Lynn, Norfolk

As a member of the executive team, the Head of Operations will work to fulfil the vision of the Authority by assuming direct responsibility for all operational activities of the Authority. They will ensure that all planned outputs are delivered within agreed timescales and budgets.

Operating at both the strategic and operational levels the successful candidate will be required to plan and manage the entire range of activities necessary to fulfil the requirements of the Business Plan.

The ideal candidate will share our passion for the marine environment and should possess the following:
* Graduate level education or equivalent experience
* Substantial leadership and management experience
* Ability to assimilate the intricacies of varied and diverse tasks
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Ability to work under pressure, accurately and to deadlines
* Ideally experienced in marine science and/or law enforcement
* Able to deputise for the Chief Executive Officer
* Experience of policy development and business planning
* Highly developed Engagement and Influencing skills
