Head of Commercial Services - East Anglia (Ref: HO3190)

Salary: £46,346.00 to £51,495.00 per annum on appointment (salary scale extends to £56,645.00) and associated benefits

Hours: 35 hours per week

Based: Norwich

We are seeking a highly credible Head of Commercial Services to further develop on our excellent commercial activities including our Fundraising and Retail functions operating across East Anglia. We want a dynamic, strategic leader who will build on the huge success of our GoGo sculpture trails and the year on year increase in sales we achieve in our 50 shops.

About you

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of defining and developing commercial strategies to generate income according to the organisations objectives and to accelerate growth. You will need significant experience developing business, generating income streams and securing fundraising opportunities.
A strong financial background is required as you will be monitoring and forecasting the commercial budget alongside developing and negotiating commercial agreements and partnerships.

You will have a track record of developing talent, effectively leading and building teams. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be confident building and maintaining relationships, both internally and externally and will have a relentless focus on positive outcomes, creating new and better means to achieve business success.

We are looking for a proactive can-do individual who can hit the ground running, demonstrating positive impact through new business development. You will need to enjoy working across a variety of sectors to convey important messages about Breaks critical work. We would welcome candidates with experience of CRM, digital technology, strategic and sponsorship development.

Break has 50 Charity shops, with a wide geographical spread, which are a vital source of non-statutory funding, together with outstanding fundraising operations.

Break employs around 450 staff and 900 volunteers, the majority of the latter in its shops. The staff are located primarily in Norfolk, with the main administrative offices in Norwich.

Break is Investors in People gold accredited and has featured in the Times Best Companies list.
