Chef - Head Chef & Sous Chef

Full-time - 34-38 hours per week.

Artel is a Norwich city based cafe combining fusion cuisine mixed with fundamentally Australian brunch style food, offering both dine in and take away options. We are looking to fill a Head Chef and Sous Chef position both with previous commercial kitchen experience. We have a 5-star hygiene rating and are looking for team members to help us retain this status. 

The Artel kitchen is undergoing a restructure in operations. We are looking for a new Head Chef to take an active role in how Artel runs the kitchen, shaping and actioning the restructure as well as taking on more regular Head Chef responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a Head Chef to build both a well-functioning and creative kitchen team from the ground up.

From our Sous Chef, we are looking for active engagement in this restructure; constant collaboration with the Head Chef and other chefs surrounding the development of the seasonal menus and counter offerings; and other regular Sous Chef responsibilities. This role is an ideal stepping stone for a Sous Chef wanting to expand on his/her experience working closely with the Head Chef.
