GP Receptionist / Admin Assistant (3 posts)

37.5 hours per week
£17,600.00 per annum + NHS pension

 

We are an enthusiastic, friendly practice in Bow, East London, looking after 13,000 patients, with 5 partners and 6 salaried GPs in the heart of the community. We want to recruit 3 receptionists / Admin Assistants to join our rich and varied multidisciplinary team committed to holistic patient care. Previous practice experience is desirable but not essential.  You must have excellent customer services & communication skills  to help us continue to change things for the better.

Working closely with our Practice team and patients youll be the first point of contact for all patients and healthcare personnel visiting the service, organising patient appointments, answering calls and using the clinical system. Youll be organised and able to deal with a range of difficult situations - always demonstrating a sensitive and diplomatic approach. This is an opportunity to put your customer service background and solid IT skills to great use.

You will possess excellent organisational and time management skills and with strong communication and listening skills and a flexible approach you will ensure you deliver positive experiences to service users at every stage of their journey. The ideal candidate will be flexible, friendly, with excellent customer service skills and work well within a team, whilst also able to use their own initiative.

Good IT skills and an ability to work within a fast paced environment are also required. The right person should be able to demonstrate a good telephone manner, computer literacy and excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to work as part of a team is essential and the right candidate will be able to work under pressure, whilst adhering to patient confidentiality at all times. Flexible hours usually vary between 8.00am - 20:00pm Shifts will differ - but between Monday to Saturday
