How we work
Working within the Broadland Group of Children's Centres you will be part of team delivering services to improve the outcomes of children under 8 and their families, with a particular focus on children under 5.
How youll make a difference
The family support worker role involves leading activities in the centres and at outreach venues in line with the EYFS and providing high quality support based on the needs of children and their families. You will also be required to work with children and families in their own homes to deliver evidenced based interventions. Developing partnerships with key services will be a priority for the role. Action for Children are committed to training employees and relevant training will be provided to enhance your skills and knowledge when working with families including first aid and safeguarding children.
What youll need:
The Broadland Group of Children's Centre are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references before commencing work. The successful applicant will also hold a full driving licence and have use of their own vehicle. They will also hold a relevant Early Years qualification, NVQ Level 2 as a minimum. Experience of partnership working and community engagement is desirable.
