Events Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

SCP 29 - 34 (£26,470 - £30,756)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a maternity cover events coordinator in the East of England Local Government Association team. The Association is looking for a self-motivated, highly organised and enthusiastic individual to manage a range of events throughout the year.

The East of England Local Government Association has an excellent track record of delivering high profile events. In this role you will be expected to plan and deliver events across the region. This diverse position will require you to work across the administration, management and operation of events.

You will be expected to take responsibility for the management and delivery of specific conferences, seminars, in-house programmes and other events from initiation to completion, working with a range of people either within the East of England LGA or externally.

You will have:

-A successful background of events organisation
-Have strong communication, organisational and attention to detail skills
-Experience of working in a busy environment and working to strict deadlines
