Engineering Key Account Manager
This is a newly created opportunity within the Industrial, Original Equipment Manufacturing and Aftersales markets, to grow the presence in new and existing accounts, along with adding into new industries. You will utilise your understanding of engineering to determine the best solutions for the client and target new industries within construction, mining and high way vehicles along with other potential opportunities. Your prime role will be to identify, explore and grow the business along with servicing current clients. Offering a salary of to £45,000 + car.


This is a field based role therefore ideally live within commutable distance between Birmingham, Manchester and Yorkshire.

Key responsibilities of the Engineering Key Account Manager:
·Prospecting new opportunities within defined markets to grow and develop the brand
·Creating strategic development plans for the identified market, writing tenders, proposals and reports
·Developing strong relationships with the customer and senior management teams
·Building account growth across core accounts
·Leading in the promotion of complex system designs pertinent to the targeted core industry
·Effectively managing the order process working closely with the customer service team
·Sustaining and improving the relationships with OEM customers
·Coordinating and driving sales activity
·Liaising with the technical team to enhance key account activity to deliver positive results
·Establishing a long term growth strategy

Key skills required for the Engineering Key Account Manager:
·An engineering degree or qualified by experience within the sector
·Minimum of five years demonstrative sales or key account experience, within the field of lubrication products and delivery systems
·Exposure with helping prospective customers navigate their way through complex decisions
·Ability to negotiate and influence decision making, working through different levels of an organisation's hierarchy
·Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
