Electrical (EC&I) Project Engineer Vacancy - Electrical Engineer

I am currently looking for an electrically (EC&I) biased engineer to work on a new build process plant project, you will be involved with the build of packaged equipment for a specific section of the plant.

The client is looking for a senior engineer with 5-10+ years' experience to work near Suffolk (Ipswich)

The client is working on nuclear related projects, but they are happy for any candidates with suitable electrical projects experience from any process industry (nuclear, waste-to-energy, water, chemical).

Electrical Project Engineer Specification: Permanent Opportunity

START: ASAP - Immediate

LOCATION: Suffolk (Ipswich)

SALARY: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.

Specification:

Electrical Engineering bias - LV experience (400/640v) as minimum

Projects or packaged engineering experience

Electrical Engineering Experience - (MCC's, Control Panels, Power Distribution, Cable Schedules)

5+ Years projects/packaged engineering experience

Heavy industry process projects experience (Nuclear, Oil&Gas, Chemical, Water)

Ability to review designs (discuss with and advise suppliers technically)

Coordinate projects teams, equipment suppliers and systems integrators

Beneficial Skills (Not Essential):

Office and Site Based Electrical technical skills (cable sizing, cable routing, electrical install, FAT, SAT)

Any Electrical Testing or Commissioning Experience

Ability to read electrical schematics, amend drawings and query issues with contractors

Ability to use CAD beneficial, not essential

The client has an immediate requirement and will be able to interview next week.
