DIRECTOR OF STUDENT SUPPORT
SCALE K POINT 38-42 (£33,899 to £37,784)
37 HOURS PER WEEK/FULL TIME REQUIRED SEPTEMBER 2019


We are looking to appoint a Senior Leader who will be responsible for enabling outstanding progress and attainment by ensuring that the attendance and behaviour of all year groups is of the highest standard possible by reducing barriers to learning. The post holder will be part of the Wider Leadership Team and will have line management responsibilities for the whole Student Support Team as well as being the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

The successful applicant will lead the Student Support Team to support students and deliver the Academys behaviour, attendance and safeguarding policies. You will also contribute to the development of other related strategic pastoral initiatives both in the Academy and in liaison with partner agencies. This will include developing and managing a multi-agency approach in order to promote emotional wellbeing, good mental health, positive behaviour and high attendance among children and young people.

Attleborough Academy Norfolk is a popular, 11 to 18 Academy which is continually developing to meet the demands of providing the highest quality education for all students.
