Direct Marketing Officer (appeals)

Full time, permanent

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic direct marketing professional to join our fundraising team.  This role will support the Senior Direct Marketing Officer with the delivery of the charitys DM programmes.

The role

Reporting to the Senior Direct Marketing Officer, you will be required to assist with the annual direct fundraising programme and the implementation of our individual direct fundraising campaigns.  You will also assist with our legacy marketing and Free Wills network.  An air of creativity is required when producing detailed briefs, artwork and proofs for approval by key operational areas.  You will work closely with the Fundraising Data Officer and Data Analyst when monitoring donor recruitment and retention levels.

About you

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent marketing qualification.  You will have experience of tracking and monitoring income and expenditure budgets and have been involved with successful direct marketing and other marketing campaigns.  We are looking for an individual with an understanding of data segmentation and analysis.   You will have the ability to work well under pressure, possess excellent interpersonal skills along with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
