Digital Reporter The New European (TNE), Norwich/Remote

We are seeking an experienced, digitally-focused journalist with a keen interest in politics to join The New European.

With 2.5million page views per month, TNE is becoming a must-visit destination for political junkies. You will help us build on that success by generating engaging, share-friendly content as well as creating social media posts which grow our brand. You will also work on our award-winning print edition.

Formal journalism qualifications are helpful but not essential. More important are good story judgement, excellent knowledge of UK politics and a willingness to work some unsociable hours in pursuit of team goals.

The post is based in Norwich; however, we are willing to be flexible on location for the right candidate.

In return we offer a salary between £18,000 and £20,000 depending on experience and excellent benefits including 5 weeks annual leave, a contributory pension and life assurance scheme (after qualifying period) and a wide range of voluntary benefits include a Cycle to Work scheme, Westfield Health Scheme and Archant Gold, charity matched funding.

Closing date for the receipt of applications and CVs is Friday 24th January 2020.
