Digital Marketing Executive (Full time/ permanent)

Salary: £22,000 - £26,000 (depending on experience)

 

Dura Composites, a leading global supplier of composite products, is looking for an experienced, dynamic Digital Marketing Executive to join their high-paced marketing team on a full-time basis. The role would suit someone from a marketing agency who is looking for their first move in-house, or someone with existing client-side digital marketing experience.

As a key member of our in-house marketing department, youll be exposed to every aspect of the business assisting in the planning, executing and optimising robust marketing strategies for each sector. Youll also coordinate with an external digital agency to ensure that we reach our target audiences in an engaging, cost-effective way.

As a proactive, forward-thinking marketer, youll be actively involved with creating actionable solutions that help to improve our customers journey and increase lead generation.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage the Dura Composites website; updating content, images, product pages, and company information on a day-to-day basis.
  • Schedule email campaigns around specific events, build audiences from our database, and write engaging copy.
  • Work with our digital agency to improve all aspects of paid search activity.
  • Run the day-to-day activity of the Dura Composites social channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
  • Create informative, well-researched and optimised content that reflects the Dura Composites brand, both on-site and for other channels.
  • Produce detailed digital reports and analysis that reflect an understanding of our team KPIs
  • Ad hoc admin tasks to support the wider marketing team

Essential Criteria

  •  Prior experience within a similar role, preferably in a B2B organisation or digital marketing agency.
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO, AdWords and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills with good copywriting and proofreading ability.
  • Strong organisational skills, with an ability to work to deadlines, and to plan and prioritise short and long-term tasks effectively.
  • A can-do attitude and desire to excel in the industry.

Desirable Skills

  • A degree or equivalent level qualification in marketing, business or communications
  • Experience of working with advertising on LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.
  • Experience of using WordPress for website content management, including the use of plugins such a WooCommerce.
  • Previous involvement of the integration of MailChimp within Sage CRM
  • A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar software (i.e. Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign)
  • Understanding of, or experience in, working in a business with a large portfolio of products and services.
