An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic leader to join the highly professional Leadership Team at Wayland Academy, which is in the rural heart of Norfolk.
We are seeking an outstanding candidate for a new post as Deputy Principal with a commitment to academic excellence and a passion for helping every student succeed. This exciting role will shape and support the delivery of the academic vision and support academy improvement.
A successful candidate will be required to Line Manage the Humanities Faculty (History, Geography and French) and Inclusion, (Alternative Provision Learning and SEND). The Deputy Principal will use their outstanding pedagogy and inspirational leadership to drive up results and to ensure we continue to improve life chances through education. A suitable candidate will be required to teach, however, a specific subject is not required.

Have a proven track record of raising attainment and experience of Senior Leadership.

Have a knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedure and child protection processes
