Deputy Care Manager
37 hours per week
Circa up to £25k
Lowestoft
Job Ref: LC030

When you join Orwell you will find that we are something very special. We aim to be a creative and dynamic organisation, with an inclusive culture and forward-thinking leadership.

We are passionate about our people, and a Sunday Times top 100 employer and a silver standard Investors in People accredited organisation. We will invest in you, support you, and provide you with the resources you need to achieve your potential. Everybodys wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do to ensure our continued success.

We are looking for a Deputy Care Manager to join our extra care service, Levington Court, which CQC rated outstanding. As a Deputy Care Manager, you will work closely with the service manager on the day-to-day running of the Flexible Dementia service. You will have the ability to influence, lead, supervise and inspire a team of care professionals to deliver an amazing care service. You will support the manager to maintain the budgeted financial performance of the service, whilst having input into the development and growth of the division.

From your previous experience of working in care in a supervisory role, you must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of CQC, positive approaches to dementia care and care management with a person-centred ethos.

In return, we offer an attractive salary, training and development (e.g. QCF Level 4 in Health and Social Care) and, as this role also involves working in the community, it is essential that you hold a full valid driving licence. If you feel you have a bright future, let that be with us.
