Customer Services Manager Are you able to deliver service excellence? Do you have logistics experience? P&O Ferrymasters are part of P&O Ferries owned by Dubai World and work across road, rail and sea through our Contract Logistics, Freight Management and Assets divisions.  We currently operate from more than 20 strategic locations in 13 countries, where 500+ colleagues are united by a passion for customer and service focus are looking for a Customer Services Manager to be based in Corby.


As our Customer Services Manager you will be part of a highly dedicated and professional team, which is responsible for delivering the highest quality of service. You have a team of experienced Operational Planners and administrator and by teaming up with other operational and supportive departments within the organisation; a high service level can be achieved with the shared aim of achieving the very best for our customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and managing performance in terms of Health & Safety, customer service, haulier and shunting operations
  • Communicating proactively between the P&O team, other P&O locations, hauliers and our customer to deliver efficient service of the contract
  • Building strong business relationships with key stakeholders
  • The delivery of agreed budget targets
  • Preparing and reviewing KPI information as well as attending regular contract meetings
  • Supporting continual improvement initiatives and identifying new ways to enhance contract efficiencies

As Customer Services Manager you will have significant experience of operating in a fast moving dynamic environment, and must possess excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in a professional manner.

Other skills and attributes required:

  • Experience in managing a team of transport and logistics professionals for a minimum of 5 years
  • Good organisational skills and an eye for detail
  • A service oriented attitude and a determination to always exceed customer expectations
  • Health and Safety knowledge and awareness
  • Good IT skills
