Customer Service Executive – Permanent – Full-time – Competitive Salary

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Executive on behalf of our client based in Long Stratton. The role will be the first point of contact for both customers and prospects. 

Main duties include:

  • To receive orders from customers and process them
  • Notify the warehouse and transport of all customer, product and delivery requirements to ensure an efficient delivery in line with customer expectations 
  • To set up new customer accounts on SAP, with agreed credit limits and payment terms
  • Dealing with potential and existing customer enquiries in terms of sample requests (identify the reason for the sample request and record)
  • Pricing queries and other requests for information
  • Receiving customer complaints.
  • Ensure that all relevant paper work is duly completed and accurate, including the request for credit notes which should be passed to the Office Operations manager for authorisation
  • Scheduling and arranging of stock transfers 
  • Liaise with key customers for order forecasts on a monthly basis to help with stock management

Key requirements include:

  • The candidate must be able to operate independently, set priorities and work to a high level of accuracy
  • Teamplayer
  • SAP experience would be beneficial but not essential
