Customer Service Agents 

Salary £4.52-£8.38 per hour

Customer Service Agents Thompson & Morgan are the UK's most successful horticultural direct marketing company. Based on the outskirts of Ipswich, we have plenty of free on-site parking, free tea & coffee and great staff discount. We have a brilliant team environment and look after our employees.

Positions are available on a temporary basis until 30 June 2020 (with the possibility of becoming permanent). Full time hours available across various shifts but must include a weekend day. Part time hours will be considered. In return, we are offering a competitive salary £4.52-£8.38.

As Customer Service Agents, your responsibilities will include answering inbound calls, offering the best possible solution for our customers. Calls will vary from customers who are looking to place an order, or they are contacting us regarding their orders. Our brand is very well known in the horticulture and mail order sector, and is the one stop shop for all gardening needs

Other key duties include: 

  • To consistently deliver an outstanding level of customer service 
  • To answer calls in a timely and professional manner 
  • Resolving customer queries 
  • Taking details of enquiries and complaints 
  • Processing orders and taking payments 
  • Escalate any issues or complaints to your team manager where necessary 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Excellent customer service skills 


The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
 

  • Previous customer service experience, whether that be from a contact centre, retail or hospitality. 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
