Job Title: Customer Services Administrator

Customer Service Administrator- Skinners Pet Foods is a family-run business based in Stradbroke, near Eye, Suffolk and we manufacture premium quality dog foods. We are now looking for a Customer Services Administrator to join our team based in Eye, on a full-time permanent basis.  

As a Customer Service Administrator, you will provide an efficient and effective administrative service to the team. You will understand client urgency, be able to manage customer experience and expectations efficiently by understanding their needs and providing an outstanding level of customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Positively representing the company when handling requests via phone, email or in person
  • Answering the main phone line and handling or directing calls accordingly
  • Administration duties of department including Data inputting (Sales Software), generating quotes, proformas and orders ensuring accuracy and handled in a timely manner
  • Liaising with customer and provide key updates
  • Identifying possible threats and make manager aware and work together to achieve a suitable outcome (ideally be proactive and suggest course of action)
  • Developing customer relations
  • Using initiative to suggest changes for the benefit of the business and its customers.
  • Learning about Skinners products and keeping up to date with changes
  • Analysing statistics or other data to determine the level of sales and customer service being provided
  • Attending team meetings

Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience in a similar role within a customer service environment
  • Good IT skills, including knowledge of using CRM systems or databases
  • Strong communicator who is customer focused, with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Good Time Keeping
  • Completes personal goals and has a good academic record

This is a full-time permanent role with office hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. In return we are offering an attractive, competitive salary plus a discretionary company bonus and a generous holiday allowance.
