Community Safety Enforcement Officer

Salary between £23,493 and £28,386 per annum

Based at King’s Court Council Offices, King’s Lynn

We have a new opportunity within our Community Safety and Neighbourhood Nuisance team, for you to play a key role in making a difference in the West Norfolk community. You will be working across the whole borough undertaking proactive enforcement patrols of littering and dog fouling offences, and assist with the investigation of antisocial behaviour cases, fly-tipping and other environmental crimes. You will conduct community engagement to identify issues affecting the quality of life of our residents, businesses and visitors and take action to address the issues identified. With experience of working in a similar role and environment, including working with a diverse range of people, you will be able to identify issues and offer innovative solutions. You will have excellent communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to collate information from a range of sources, and have an understanding of the rules of evidence gathering.
