A well established company specialising in Service & Maintenance of heating, air conditioning and
electrical services are currently recruiting a full time position for a Service co-ordinator to
strengthen their team.

The role will be based at their Head Office in Hitchin, working closely with their Service Manager,
Clients and maintaining a good rapport with their Engineers on a daily basis.

Purpose of role
Being a key figure in the service dept. with an open, friendly and approachable manner.
Be the first point of call for clients and engineers within the company.
Understand the clients needs and requirements for repair work and utilising your skills to ensure
that this is communicated in a professional manor.
Collating paperwork of ongoing projects, keeping up to date from start to finish using strong
organisational skills.
Maintaining a close relationship with the companys engineers to ensure work is being
completed effectively.
Take the company forward with IT and processes.

Key Responsibilities
Taking reactive calls from clients and dealing with in a professional manner.
Liaise with clients, schedule engineers and follow up on break downs until completed
Follow up after service visits with relevant paperwork and ensuring all files are updated
Prepare quotations for clients and follow up
Ensuring in-house engineers are up to date on:
Report status
Any re-scheduling
Time Sheets
Ordering of parts and materials

Knowledge & Skills
Meticulous and consciences about your work
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft packages with fast and accurate typing skills and a high
level of grammar, spelling and punctuation
Excellent communication and administration skills
Multi tasker with the ability to juggle priorities
Managing administrative processes
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
A general understanding of Facilities' practices and principles preferred but not essential
