Cloud Accounting Administrator

We are one of East Anglia's leading Independent Accountancy Firms. We provide integrated advice and solutions to help our clients achieve their goals and stay ahead in a changing world.

As part of our evolving and continued client support we are seeking a Cloud Accounting Administrator to join our Ipswich Business and Private Team.

The role will support the main accounting function and portfolio holders across the southern region of the business (Suffolk & North Essex). The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to shape the LG Digital Systems offering to clients going forward, and link in with the firms Cloud Services Specialists.

Each day will be interesting and challenging, with the successful candidate gaining experience within the Cloud Accountancy Serviced market.

To be successful in this role you will need to be:
- Great at organising people, tasks and workload
- Adaptable and tenacious when working towards a solution
- A good collaborator and develop relationships with people at all levels of the firm and with external training and service providers
- A strong multitasker able to manage a number of different tasks to completion in a timely manner
- An excellent administrator and able to observe a high level of confidentiality and discretion

More information on the role key tasks (not exhaustive)
- Liaising with clients to process their accounting functions
- Inputting data to cloud based accounting software, including importing data from client records via supporting software and apps
- Keep up to date with new cloud accounting developments and share knowledge as appropriate.
- Assisting with day to day queries
- Maintaining good working relationships with client employees and maintaining up to date knowledge on their business.
- Attends training courses as identified in order to develop both technical and personal skills and keeps records for compliance purposes
- Additional qualifications and experience

You will be A-level educated or equivalent. You will be competent in using Microsoft packages, internet and email. Ideally you will have experience of working within a professional accountancy practice or professional services environment.

This role will best suit someone who has basic understanding of Cloud Software and is keen to develop this skillset by taking advantage of all training provided.
