Children & Young People Services Session Worker (West Norfolk)
NANSA is an excellent charity providing services for children and adults with disabilities in the county of Norfolk. We are currently going through a period of growth and development and have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding organisation as a Children and Young People Services Session Worker based in Kings Lynn.
The Session Worker provides support to young people aged 11 - 25 with severe physical / learning disabilities or complex additional support needs who are accessing NANSAs specialist group based services in West Norfolk. The Session Worker ensures that the young people can fully participate in a programme of activities through encouragement, direct assistance as needed, and supporting them to develop key skills which will enable them to confidently undertake the key transitions through to adult life.
Salary: £16,271 - £17,053 (pro rata)
Hours: Part time 46 sessions per annum (7 hours per session). Second and fourth Saturdays of each month plus Tuesdays and Thursdays during school holidays. Additional 24hrs per annum for staff training and development activities.
