An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Care Assistant with a desire for career development to join a dedicated team working within a prestigious elderly nursing home based in Wroxham, Norfolk.

The position is offering up to 42 hours per week (primarily DAY shifts with some NIGHTS) or BANK (shifts as per the homes needs), at a pay rate from £8.21 per hour (subject to experience)

The successful candidate will:
Provide person centered care and personal care to residents in all aspects of their daily living;
Supporting residents at meal times, in accordance with their individual needs;
Take an active interest in your personal and professional development by, contributing to supervision and appraisal meetings, attending team meetings and training;
Develop positive professional relationships with residents, visitors and colleagues

 


 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility in work patterns
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Evidence of experience within a similar role
  • A diploma in health and social care would be of added advantage.
