Simonds is a third-generation family business employing 90 people serving East Anglia and providing a wide variety of bus and coaching activities including local bus services, holidays, private hire, schools and tour company clients.  It maintains and services its own fleet of 45 vehicles and has a commercial garage and workshop operation providing MOT test facility, bodywork, repair and vehicle maintenance for the public.   

The company is seeking an individual to develop the commercial aspects of each of its activities.  The post would suit an experienced Business Development Manager, but we would consider an aspiring first-time manager with a relevant qualification.  

The lucrative benefit package offered has a competitive salary with a bonus related to profit and growth targets, health cover together with generous annual holidays. 

The company is based at Diss, Norfolk. The scope of operations can be viewed online at www.simonds.co.uk.  Weekday working hours are 9am-5.30pm, (but is seen as a guide) attendance will also be required during evenings and/or weekends representing the business at exhibitions, shows and other events.
