Be part of the future - we are currently recruiting for a Business Improvement District (BID Project Manager in Warrington.

This is a an exciting opportunity to play a key part in Warrington's future development.

You will manage the delivery of the Warrington Business Improvement District and its Team to plan and deliver projects and initiatives across the 4 key themes set out in the BID Business Plan.

Project and Funding Management

* Manage the development and delivery of the Warrington BID projects within the Warrington BID proposal and in line with approved budgets, ensuring compliance with the Trust’s Project Management System.

* To effectively manage the BID thematic groups and project or sector groups

* Monthly presentation of financial and output information in relation to project performance to the Warrington BID Board.

* Follow documented procedures and accepted Trust ways of working in order to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, to budget, in line with customer and funders requirements.

* Manage the completion of the project claims and report to the Warrington BID Board

* Ensure up to date customer relationship management/output/outcome records are held utilising the systems provided by the Trust.

* Support the Business Improvement District Programmes Manager to ensure annual accounts and reports of BID expenditure are produced for the Warrington BID.

* Manage meetings and events as required to deliver projects and services, ensuring that clear and auditable records of BID meetings and decisions are generated and shared with communities in a timely manner as required.

* Report on the performance of projects through the completion of Board reports as required.

* Ensure all projects/initiatives are delivered to consistently high standards and provide positive and productive experiences for all project beneficiaries.

Relationship Management, Business Engagement and Service Delivery

* Maintain effective relationships with a wide group of customers, partners and stakeholders, including, but not limited to Warrington Businesses, BID Executive Board Members, Council Officers and Members and wider stakeholders.

* Ensure that high quality and effective communication and marketing strategies are deployed on all Warrington BID projects to enable clear communication and messaging of project aims and achievements.

* Ensure that the Trust’s customer relationship databases are fully utilised, kept up to date and maintained by the Warrington BID Team for every intervention made through the team.

* Deliver presentations to businesses, stakeholders and partners as required.

* Manage and co-ordinate consultations and surveys of Warrington Businesses.

* Liaise with funders, relevant partners, clients and consultants in the public, private and voluntary sectors, ensuring the highest quality of communication at all stages of project delivery.

* To act as an ambassador for the BID locally, regionally and nationally and be an advocate for the effectiveness of the BID and Warrington town centre, through seminars, speeches and press activity.

General

* Meet agreed project and individual targets.

* To maintain your own up to date continual professional development records.

* Maintain a tidy and welcome environment.

* Maintain a clean, tidy and well-presented car.

* Fully utilise IT to improve efficiency.

* Analyse and monitor data and reports.

* Adhere to the Trust’s Quality Management System.

* Be responsible for the health and safety of yourself and others in carrying out your work duties.

* To adhere to the Trust’s Environmental Policy rules and best practice.

* The job will involve early starts and late finishes and evening and weekend work for which time off in lieu will be given.

* The post will require operating from office locations away from the main Groundwork office.

* Any other duties as may be required.
