Part of a global aviation group we are an OEM-certified engineering company dedicated to providing maintenance, repair and overhaul services for small gas turbine and turbofan engines used in aviation. Our authorisations cover the majority of turbine engine models powering fixed and rotary wing aircraft used for business aviation, and many of the engines used in government, military and commercial applications.

The Maintenance Technician - Test Facility Calibration Role:

To carry out calibration and maintenance activities within the Test Facility and to support Engineering activities.

Aviation Maintenance Technician - Test Facility Calibration Main Responsibilities

+ Carry out calibration, preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair activities within the Test Facility
+ To maintain Test Facility calibration schedule to ensure that the test facility is maintained to OEM standards
+ To support the development and control all technical documentation within the Test Facility.
+ Carry out appropriate health and safety assessments relating to calibration/maintenance activities
+ Develop and maintain technical documentation for calibration and maintenance and repair of the Test Facilities
+ Support other departments with technical assistance when required
+ Provide out of hours support.
+ Liaise with sub-contractors working within the Test Facility, control their activities on site and act as a point of contact prior to, during and after their visit.
+ Support the Test & Performance Engineer on all aspects of test cell design, maintenance, repair, correlation and calibration
+ Work as part of the Test Facility management team to compile detailed technical cost justifications for maintenance and capital expenditure investment related projects
+ Act as safety engine tester when required

Aviation Maintenance Technician Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

+ Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or relevant proven experience/competence in a maintenance role.
+ Experience of working in a calibration environment - Desirable
+ Experience of working on electrical/mechanical/fluid systems - Required
+ PC literate
