The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts is one of the most prominent university art museums in Britain, with a national and international reputation for the display and study of art.

 

The post holder will support the administration of the Sainsbury Centre collections as well as artworks held under its care. This will involve the administration of Collections, the Loans-out programme, auditing works on display or storage and processing new acquisitions. A key element will be supporting the registration work concerning the temporary exhibitions programme such as coordinating transport and insurance arrangements. Working with colleagues in Curatorial, Technical, Communications and Education, the post holder will contribute to the ongoing success of the Centre and its programme of exhibitions and displays.

 

You must be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent qualification or have gained equivalent experience. In addition, you will have experience of working in a museum or art gallery and be able to fulfil all essential elements of the person specification.  

 

This post is available from 4 November 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 1 year.
