Working in a unisex salon.
The role of an Apprentice in the salon is a very important part of the smooth running of the salon.
Will be required to work on reception answering the phone and making appointments, shampooing clients, preparing the clients for their service. Making tea and coffee, keeping the salon clean and tidy. Will be given practical training in the salon along with training at Gt Yarmouth College
Hours of work - 35 hours per week (Tuesday to Saturday) You will be required to work every Saturday and have Monday as your day off. *Training You will be required to attend college on Tuesday.
Qualifications & Skills required - A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade D or above (or the equivalent) to include English and Maths. As part of the pre-employment check process, proof of qualifications will be required. An interest in fashion, colours and hair styles.
Training via Gt Yarmouth College leading to City & Guilds: Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing (QCF)
